30 Questions: # 12, Typical Day

It's been awhile. Let's play 30 Questions!

12. Describe a typical day in your current life.

Typical day, you say? Well, let me tell you.

5:30 a.m. - Alarm 1 goes off.

5:45 a.m. - Alarm 2 goes off.

6:00 a.m. - 8 a.m. I get out of bed and  I walk over to the treadmill, walk/jog and read a book on my Kindle. I am reading Assassin's Apprentice right now. It was recommend by my uncle and I am enjoying it so far. I am on the mill for about 30 minutes. I take a shower, get ready for work, drink coffee out of my Tardis mug, enjoy some cereal or oatmeal, and then brave the fall Chicago weather.

8 a.m. - 9 a.m. I act like a sardine on a train for 35 minutes on my way to work. Super fun! And I also entertain myself by listening to a Mars Hill podcast, reading the Bible, reading a book, writing my story, or people watch. Sometimes I grab some more coffee, take a photo or two of my city, and smile at everyone around me. Yup, I am a morning person. :)

9 a.m. - 5 p.m. I work. I enjoy my job a lot. I enjoy what I do and the people I work with. I listen to music while there, which is very nice. Sometimes during lunch I write my story, read the Bible, try to blog, or I just take the entire 30-minutes to sit and stare out my window.

5 p.m. - 6 p.m. I get back onto the train and usually write my story. Since my stop is before the big rush I can usually get a seat which allows me to write. It's very nice.

6 p.m. - 10 p.m. Depending on the evening, I am either reading, writing, hanging out with friends, going to small group, watching tele, etc. Tonight I caught up on New Girl and The Mindy Project; wrote 1,000 words of my story; spent time with God in worship, reading, and prayer; and now I am blogging.

10 p.m. - 11 p.m.  This is my winding down time. I usually put on a something I've seen many times before (Pride and Prejudice, Safety not Guaranteed, Persuasion, Doctor Who Episods, etc.) and relax my back because I am an old lady. And then I put on Bon Iver and go to sleep.

That's my overly-detailed typical day.
